Ali Kopiecki continues to stand tall for the Hamline women's tennis team. The freshman was the bright light for HU in an 8-1 loss to St. Mary's Saturday at Baseline Tennis Center. Kopiecki won her No. 1 singles match by impressive 6-1, 6-1 margins. She and teammate
Megan Anderson came very close in No. 1 doubles, falling on a 9-8 tiebreaker (8-6).
Jane Schwartz came close at No. 6 singles, falling 7-6, 6-2.
Hamline is now 7-8 overall, 0-7 in the MIAC. They hit the road Sunday for a match at Concordia in Moorhead.
