Ali Kopiecki had to work overtime Friday ... but it was well worth the effort. The freshman won her No. 1 singles match, 5-7, 6-4, 10-8 against Bethel at Holt Court. it proved to be the Piper women's tennis team's lone success in an 8-1 loss. The doubles team of
Natalie Pieterick and
Ella Seehafer came the closest on their end, losing their match by an 8-4 count.
Hamline is now 8-9 overall, 1-8 in MIAC play. They wrap up their season Sunday, April 29 with two matches. HU will face Gustavus Adolphus at Holt Court at 10:00 a.m. and then play at Wisconsin-River Falls later in the day.
