Ali Kopiecki won at No. 1 singles to highlight the women's tennis team's 8-1 loss to St. Thomas Sunday night at Lakeville. The freshman improved to 9-2 on the season in singles with a 6-4, 6-3 win over St. Thomas' Jenna Zimmerman. Kopiecki and teammate Megan Anderson put up stiff resistance at No. 2 doubles before falling, 8-6. 

The Pipers are now 6-6 overall, 0-5 in MIAC play. Hamline returns to the court Thursday, April 12 at Northwestern.
