Courtney Fenech is finishing strong for the Hamline women's tennis team.  Tne freshman won her singles match and teamed with Natalie Pieterick for a triumph at No. 1 doubles in the Pipers' 7-2 loss to St. Catherine Saturday at Baseline Tennis Center. 

The Texan improved to 10-2 in singles (4-1 in the No. 1 role) with a 6-3, 6-2 decision. She and Pieterick improved to 5-0 playing No. 1 doubles with an 8-5 win. Pieterick, a senior, is tied for the team lead in doubles wins this year with 10.

The Pipers are 9-9 overall, 2-7 in MIAC play. They wrap up the season Sunday at Bethel.
