Ali Kopiecki and
Courtney Fenech continue to be a fierce 1-2 punch for the HU women's tennis team. The pair won their singles matches and Fenech teamed with
Natalie Pieterick for win at No.2 doubles in a 6-3 loss to St. Mary's Friday in Winona, Minn.
Kopiecki stretched her won-loss record at No. 1 singles to 12-3 (and her personal win streak to eight in a row) with a pair of 7-5 victories. Fenech made it five straight wins at No. 2 singles with an impressive 6-0, 6-1 decision. The fiorst year sensation then joined Pieterick (pictured) for an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles. It was the first time the two had played together.
Hamline, 7-8 overall (0-6 MIAC) takes on Macalester Saturday at Baseline Tennis Center. The match begins at 5:30 p.m.
