ST. PAUL, Minn. - Various athletic programs within the Hamline University Athletic Department are participating in Piper Funding Week, a campaign to raise funds to help student-athletes have the best experience possible while they are a Piper.
More details about each program's efforts and ways to donate can be found below. The campaign will run until November 22.
Men's and Women's Tennis
The tennis programs are raising funds to renovate Holt Tennis Court, providing Piper tennis student-athletes with a place to practice and compete on campus.

Men's and Women's Track and Field
The track and field programs at Hamline are raising money for track and field shoes, track and field equipment, and athlete amenities. On their site, you can specify what you would like your money to go towards, including starting blocks, throwing equipment, or pole vault equipment.

Women's Lacrosse
The lacrosse team is raising money that will go directly to enhancing the student-athlete experience, including being used towards dome practice time, wellness speakers, travel expenses, and healthy eating options.

Women's Basketball
The women's basketball team will use raised funds to help finance part-time coaches, host JV basketball games, provide travel gear, and bring the entire team on a trip every other year.

Men's Basketball
The men's basketball team's campaign funds will go towards providing student-athletes with travel gear, uniforms, and shooting shirts, while also funding out of state trips and part-time assistant coaches.

Piper Athletic Association (PAA)
There is also an opportunity to donate to the Piper Athletic Association (PAA), that supports all of Hamline's 20 athletic teams. Funds raised by the PAA will go towards virtual recruiting, increased safety measures for the athletic department, and additional assistant coaches to help with training sessions.
