Despite having their seasons cut short, the Hamline athletic department would like to recognize and honor the 2020 senior spring class of student-athletes. These 37 individuals have made a lasting impact on their program and the Hamline campus as a whole. Devin Rodgers   |   Baseball   |   Sport Management/Marketing Major
Devin Rodgers has played in 101 games for the Hamline baseball team, compiling 75 hits while also anchoring the outfield the past two seasons in center field. In 2019, Rodgers earned MIAC Athlete of the Week honors early in the season and earned a spot on the MIAC All-Defensive Team at the end of the year. On campus, Rodgers is involved with SAAC, being the Special Olympics Chair, as well as being an Undergraduate Admission Lead Ambassador.
 
What were you most looking forward to for this spring season?
Playing one last season with my best friends and going out with a bang.
 
What is one of your favorite memories of your time at Hamline?
Attending the 2019 NCAA National Convention with the Student Immersion Program.
 
Who is someone that has had a positive impact on you during your time as a student-athlete?

What are your long-term aspirations?
To own a sports agency business.
 
What is your advice for your younger teammates?
Play and live every day like it's your last. You really never know when that time will come. Also, make the best memories with your teammates because that is what you will remember forever.
 
What are you most proud of about your career as a student-athlete?
Being a positive impact on my team.
