Senior Spotlight: Jared Deuitch

Despite having their seasons cut short, the Hamline athletic department would like to recognize and honor the 2020 senior spring class of student-athletes. These 37 individuals have made a lasting impact on their program and the Hamline campus as a whole. Every day for the next few weeks, please check back to this page as a new senior will be added each day.

Jared Deuitch   |   Baseball   |   Management and Marketing Major
Jared Deuitch has been a four-year member of the Hamline baseball team. In a game during his junior season, Deuitch was hit by a pitch and would later score on a single from teammate Cullen Buck, contributing to a six-run sixth inning that would help the Pipers defeat Minnesota Morris. This year, Deuitch appeared against Buena Vista in the second game of the season, pitching an inning in relief. On campus, he was involved with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), serving as the Co-President this year, while also being an Undergraduate Admissions Student Ambassador. In addition, Deuitch was a valued student worker for the sports information office, working behind the scenes to help athletic events run smoothly while growing the overall brand of Hamline Athletics.
