BLAINE, MINN.—The Hamline University men's cross country team kicked-off their 2021 campaign at the Victory Links Golf Course in Blaine, Minnesota, where they competed in the Bethel University Twin Cities Twilight on Friday. The Pipers captured sixth place out of seven teams with a team score of 184 points. St. Thomas (Minn.) claimed the team title with 21 points in the 6K race.

Leading the way for Hamline was Aric Brodie, who tallied a 32nd-place time of 22:02.4. Trailing him was Will Saari in 48th place with a 23:35.8. Connor Artner secured 54th place with a 24:01.1, while Rune Lee-Kolhoff registered a 75th-place time of 26:21.7. Emmett Frett rounded out the Pipers finishers in 81st place with a 27:50.3.

Hamline will return to action at the St. Olaf Invite on Saturday, September 18 at 10:00 a.m.
