SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Piper men's and women's cross country teams hosted the Hamline Invite at the Highland 9 Golf Course on Friday.
MEN
The Pipers took ninth place with 253 points. Macalester won the title with a score of 45.
Wade Tuggle (29:45.6), Jayden Rentz (31:23.0), Brady Sullivan (31:33.0), Brandon Li (33:37.1), Jasper Roetter Gresback (33:38.1), and Joseph Rivera Fuentz (38:39.1) all finished for Hamline.
WOMEN
The Pipers notched a seventh-place score of 185. Carleton took first place with a 19.
Leading Hamline was Brooke Baumann, who notched a 17th-place time of 23:50.4. Abby Tapajna followed in 35th place with a 24:49.0. Anabel Bradley (25:09.8), Alicia Maddux (25:23.8), Avery Smieja (26:46.5), Tessa Meyers (27:20.2), Lilli Carpentier (28:31.5), Briyanna Burkhardt (29:04.8), Savannah Janes (29:58.8), Deliah Neria (31:33.5), and Tatiana Otero-Ortiz (31:37.0) all finished for the Pipers.
Hamline will return to action at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invite on Friday, October 3 at 4:15 p.m.
