FINAL RESULTS
MANKATO, MINN.—Day two of the MSU-Mankato Mark Schuck Open and Multi was upon the Hamline University men's track & field team on Saturday. The Pipers finished the two-day affair in 12th place out of 15 schools with 20 points. MSU-Mankato took home the team title with 249.50 points.
Freshman Joshua Thomsen opened the day with a school-record mark of 8.36 in the 60-meter prelims, before he broke it again with a fourth-place time of 8.30 in the finals. Josh Lynch displayed promise in the pole vault as he secured fifth place with a 4.45m.
Michael Braun highlighted the jumps with a sixth-place mark of 13.22 in the triple, and an eighth-place leap of 1.88m in the high. Lucas Doyle represented the field athletes as he came through in 13th place in the weight throw with a 14.71m.
The Pipers will return to action on Saturday, February 5 at the Bethel Gene Glader Classic.
