LA CROSSE, WIS.—The Hamline University men's cross country team embarked on the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational in West Salem, Wisconsin on Saturday. The Pipers took 27th place out of 28 teams with 797 points. UW-La Crosse took home the team title with 42 points.
Aric Brodie paced the Pipers in 176th place with a time of 27:36.5, followed by Michael Kurtz's 209th-place mark of 27:57.7. Connor Artner (29:18.4), Will Saari (29:47.3), and Lucas LiaBraaten (29:52.6) also finished for Hamline.
The Pipers will host the MIAC Championship at the Highland 9 Golf Course in Saint Paul on Saturday, October 29 at 12 p.m.
