EAU CLAIRE, WIS.—The Hamline University gymnastics team embarked on a WIAC Quadrangular with UW-Eau Claire, Winona State, and UW-Whitewater in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Friday.

Madeline Sowinski was the Pipers' lone all-around competitor, where she placed fourth out of seven individuals with a 37.400 score. This consisted of a team-best sixth-place finish in the floor exercise with a 9.525, a seventh-place mark in the balance beam with a 9.525, and a 12th-place standing in the vault with a 9.275. Danielle Jaworski tied with Sowinski in the vault with a 9.275.
Sowinski also took 10th in the bars with a score of 9.075.
Brianna Weikel led Hamline in the bars with a 9.100, good enough for ninth place.
The Pipers will travel to Whitewater, Wisconsin for the 2022 WIAC Championship/NCGA West Regional on Saturday, March 5. Meet time is set for 4 p.m.
