DAY TWO RESULTS
NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University women's track & field team embarked on day two of the MIAC Indoor Championship, hosted by Carleton on Friday. The Pipers sit in sixth place out of 11 teams with 51 points, while Bethel leads the field with 73 points through day two.
Hamline posted four first-place finishes on the day.
Jailyn Robinson claimed the 55 meter dash crown with a time of 7.34, and kept the gold rolling in the long jump with a 5.41m. Jen Valley trailed Robinson in third place with a 5.30m in the long jump.
Alexandra Maddux also stood first on the podium, as she achieved a 2:14.07 in the 800 meter run. Jenneel Rodney achieved championship status in the weight throw with a first-place mark of 17.49m.
Lucy Hoelscher turned in a respectable sixth-place finish in the 400 meter dash with a 1:01.43.
Day three of the MIAC Indoor Championship will commence tomorrow, Saturday, February 26 at 10 a.m.
