SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Hamline University softball senior infielder
Megan Rubbelke was named March 21 MIAC Softball Player of the Week. This is Rubbelke's first career MIAC Player of the Week nod. She is the first Piper to land the honor since April 22, 2019, when
Alex Molloy earned the distinction.

The North St. Paul, Minnesota native accumulated a .448 (13-of-29) batting average, eight RBI, two doubles, and one home run in a week that resulted in a 7-2 overall record in Clermont, Florida. Rubbelke notched at least one hit in each of the nine games, which included a 2-for-4 outing with a home run in an 8-4 loss to Simpson on March 17.

For the season, Megan owns a team-leading .545 slugging percentage, 10 RBI, 10 runs scored, and three doubles. She ranks second on the team with a .409 (18-of-44) batting average through 13 games played.

Rubbelke and the Pipers will return to action on Saturday, April 2 at St. Scholastica (DH). Game time is set for 1 p.m.
