SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team faced Gustavus Adolphus in a Sunday-afternoon MIAC bout, where they dropped a 9-0 decision.
The Pipers fall to 2-13, 0-7 MIAC, while Gustavus Adolphus improves to 14-6, 5-0 MIAC.
"Taylor Hopkins gave it her all and proved why she is the captain," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones.

No. 3 singles saw Taylor Hopkins drop a hard-fought 6-3, 6-4 decision. Three-of-nine Gusties wins occurred via default at No. 3 doubles, as well as No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
The Pipers will make the short trip to Macalester on Tuesday, April 19 for a 5 p.m. match.
