SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University men's cross country team opened their 2022 season at the Victory Links Golf Course in Blaine, Minnesota on Friday night, where they embarked on the Bethel Twin Cities Twilight. The Pipers took sixth place out of six teams with 138 points. Bethel took first place with 41 points.
Michael Kurtz commanded the Pipers with a 15th-place time of 16:33.2. Lucas LiaBraaten was next in 19th place with a 16:42.9. Aric Brodie registered a 29th-place time of 17:00.3 for the Pipers while Khadar Muhumed (18:19.3) and Emmett Frett (19:01.4) also competed for Hamline.
Up next is the Hamline Invite at the Highland 9Â Golf Course in Saint Paul on Friday, September 9 at 6:15 p.m.
