SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's gymnastics team's home opener pitted them against first-year varsity program Simpson College, and Winona State University at Walker Fieldhouse on Sunday afternoon. This marked Simpson's first meet in program history.

It was another day at the office for Danielle Jaworski, who was the Pipers' top finisher in the floor exercise with a second-place mark of 9.550. Laurel Raymond continued her dominate freshman season with a 9.375 in the balance beam, good enough for third place. Emily Anderson was on Raymond's heels as she finished tied for sixth place in the balance beam with a 9.325. Bailee Davis kept the sixth-place trend alive in the vault with a 9.350.Â
The uneven parallel bars was all Lily Ramsdell, who secured second place with a 9.300. Jaworski followed Ramsdell in sixth place with a 8.950 in the bars.Â
