Pipers Faced Defending National Champion Titans

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's gymnastics team returned to Walker Fieldhouse for the first time in over a month on Friday night, when they hosted defending National Champion UW-Oshkosh for a dual.

Danielle Jaworski was the top Piper finisher in the floor exercise, where she prevailed in fourth place with a 9.525. Brianna Weikel and Madison Lieurance were deadlocked with a fifth-place score of 8.975 in the uneven parallel bars. Julia Hintermister kept the fifth-place trend going in the balance beam, where she led Hamline with a 9.250. Bailee Davis commanded the Pipers in the vault, where she took sixth place with a 9.475.

Hamline will host UW-Eau Claire at Walker Fieldhouse on Friday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m.
