RESULTS
NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University men's track & field team participated in the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic on Saturday. The Pipers took sixth place out of seven teams with 38.50 points. St. Olaf claimed the team title with 144 points.
Iain Lee was the most impressive Piper with a fourth-place leap of 11.61m in the triple jump.
David Couper highlighted the Hamline sprinters with a 23.68 in the 200 meter dash, good enough for fifth place. Aric Brodie was a bright spot for the distance group as he prevailed with a time of 4:29.49 in the one-mile run en route to sixth place.
Seventh place was in the cards for Andrei Pettis in the 200 meter dash (23.92), and Teris Watson in the long jump (6.10m).
The Pipers will compete in the 2023 MIAC Indoor Championship, hosted by Macalester on Thursday, February 23 - Saturday, February 25.
