DAY THREE RESULTS
SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University track & field teams finished out the 2023 MIAC Indoor Championship, hosted by Macalester College, on Sunday. The women took eighth place with 27 points, while the men registered a ninth-place score of 27. Bethel took home the men's (143.5) and women's (144) MIAC Indoor Titles.
The MIAC titles continued to roll in for Alexandra Maddux, who registered a first-place time of 1:35.98 in the women's 600 meter run. Lindsey Bernardy followed Maddux with a time of 1:42.50, good enough for 12th place. Ellie Biggins commanded the field athletes with a toss of 11.06m in the shot put, good enough for 10th place.
Michael Braun continued to have a stellar meet for the men, as he secured fourth place in the triple jump with a leap of 13.14m. Oliver Engstrom cleared the bar at 3.87m in the pole vault to earn 11th place.
The Pipers will compete in last chance meets throughout the next week with hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama on March 10-11.
