ORLANDO, FLA.—The Hamline University men's tennis team capped off their spring trip with a 7-2 victory over Scranton at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida on Thursday.
The Pipers improve to 7-3, while Scranton falls to 1-6.
"Office hours started early as the men's doubles swept all opponents by an 8–4 score," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "Assistant coach Randy Crowell presided over a nail-biting win at number five singles as sophomore Surprise Taylor came back to win a 13–11 third-set tiebreak decision."
The Pipers will return to action on Saturday, March 25 at Saint Mary's (Minn.). Match time is set for 1 p.m.
