Gymnastics Achieved Season-High Score in Home Dual With UW-La Crosse

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's gymnastics team hosted UW-La Crosse in a Friday-night dual.

Jessica Taylor: 9.775 (UW-La Crosse)

The Pipers accumulated a season-high team score of 181.175. Shea Campbell had a lot to do with that, as she finished tied for third place with a 9.675 in the floor exercise. Julia Cheely led the way in the vault with a fifth-place score of 9.425, as well as a team-high 9.075 in the uneven parallel bars en route to sixth place. Brianna Weikel kept the sixth-place trend alive in the balance beam with a 9.525.

Hamline will return to action on Sunday, February 4, when they'll host UW-Whitewater in a dual at 1 p.m.
