Pipers Open 2024 at Two-Time Defending National Champion

RESULTS

OSHKOSH, WIS.—The Hamline University women's gymnastics team opened their 2024 season with a road dual against two-time defending National Champion UW-Oshkosh on Friday night. The Titans kept their Championship ways intact, as they defeated the Pipers 190.875 - 176.625 at the Kolf Sports Center.

INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONS

Vault
Mia Lucero (UW-Oshkosh): 9.725

Uneven Parallel Bars 
Sam Zellinger (UW-Oshkosh): 9.525

Balance Beam
Anna Zoromski (UW-Oshkosh): 9.600

Floor Exercise
Mia Lucero / Reanna McGibboney (UW-Oshkosh): 9.675

Brianna Weikel, who registered a fourth-place score of 9.475 in the balance beam, was the lone Piper to crack the top four in any event. She tied for a team-leading 9.300 in the floor exercise with teammate Meighan White.

Julia Cheely paced Hamline in both the vault (9.525) and uneven parallel bars (9.275). 

The Pipers will host UW-Stout for Parents Night at Walker Fieldhouse on Friday, January 12 at 6:30 p.m.
