WOMEN'S RESULTS
NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 2024 MIAC Championship in Northfield, Minnesota. The women took ninth place with 257 points, while the men claimed 11th place with 286 points.
St. Olaf won both the men (24 points) and women's (34 points) MIAC Championship. Hannah Preisser (Carleton) won the women's individual title with a time of 21:18.9. The men's individual championship was won by Mohammed Bati (Augsburg), who crossed the finish line at 23:54.6.
Abby Tapajna (24:55.5), Anabel Bradley (25:01.5), Daniela Sanchez-Castillo (25:22.9), Alicia Maddux (25:25.5), Aspen Clarksean (25:42.1), Tessa Meyers (27:50.0), Devyn Everson (29:24.9), Savannah Janes (29:49.1), Lilli Carpentier (29:55.5), and Tatiana Otero-Ortiz (30:52.4) all competed for the women.
Leading the Hamline men was Lucas LiaBraaten, who crossed the finish line at 26:32.4 en route to 36th place. Seth Nostrala (27:25.9), Wade Tuggle (30:18.7), Trevor Taylor (30:31.3), Will Saari (30:39.8), Jasper Roetter Gresback (31:05.8), Luis Kruchten (31:23.1), and Brandon Li (31:47.8) participated for the men.
The Pipers will return to action at the NCAA North Regional in Rock Island, Illinois at 11 a.m.Â
