Cross Country Teams Open 2025 Season at Minnesota Moorhead Dragon Twilight

MOORHEAD, MINN.—The Hamline University men's and women's cross country teams opened their 2025 seasons at the Minnesota State Moorhead Dragon Twilight on Friday night. 

WOMEN

Brooke Baumann, who graduated from Minnesota State Moorhead in Fall 2024, registered a 21st-place time of 19:14.3. Anabel Bradley (19:59.4) and Abby Tapajna (19:59.4) each broke the 20:00 mark for the first time en route to 31st and 32nd place, respectively. Alicia Maddux (20:23.8), Avery Smieja (21:27.7), Tessa Meyers (21:59.6), Lilli Carpentier (22:14.5), Briyanna Brukhardt (22:34.3), Deliah Neria (22:50.5), Savannah Janes (22:53.4), and Tatiana Otero-Ortiz (25:05.0) round out the Hamline finishers.

The Pipers finished the meet with seven career bests.

MEN

Wade Tuggle (19:17.2), Jayden Rentz (19:25.9), Luis Kruchten (19:49.6), Jasper Roteer Gresback (20:49.6), Brandon Li (21:28.2), Aye Roh Htoo (23:39.1), Joseph Rivera Fuentes (23:55.5) all competed for the Pipers.

Up next is the Hamline Invite at the Highland-9 Golf Course on Friday, September 12 at 6 p.m.
