MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University track & field teams participated in the University of Minnesota Gary Wilson Invite on Wednesday.
WOMEN
It was another day at the office for Molly Meyers, who registered a career-best 14.05m in the shot put, good enough for second place. The career bests continued to roll in the hammer throw, where Madison Reed took seventh place with a 50.56m, followed by Lexi Brainer's ninth-place toss of 49.34m. Jade Hunt secured 10th place in the discus with a 41.12m.Â
MEN
Austin Scholeder cleared the bar at 4.82m in the pole vault, which went down as a career best and put him in second place. Michael Braun registered a pair of eighth-place leaps in the triple (13.29m) and high (1.88m) jumps.Â
The Pipers will return to action at the Macalester Rider-Bolstorff Invitational on Saturday, April 27.Â
