SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Hamline University sophomore
Addyson Barrett (Chisago City, Minn./Chisago Lakes) have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees, the organization announced Tuesday, Nov. 25.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least sophomores, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and meet sport-specific athletic eligibility requirements. This is Barrett's first Academic All-District honor as a Piper.
Barrett was crucial to the Pipers offense this season, leading the team in goals and points (5 goals, 12 points), shots (27), and shots on goal (14). She played a total of 1115 minutes on the field in the 18 games she played in this season. The forensics major also excels in the classroom, with her cumulative 4.0 GPA. She has also been selected as a finalist for CSC Academic All-America.
The Pipers finished their season with a 3-9-7 overall record and 1-8-2 record in conference play.
