SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's swim & dive team hosted the Piper Red Invite at Bush Center Pool on Saturday afternoon. Macalester also participated in the event.
Sila Yurttas claimed the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.69), 200-yard breaststroke (2:33.84), and 100-yard butterfly (1:04.24) titles. The championships continued to role courtesy of Ellsa Sorenson-Wagner's 1:04.50 in the 100-yard backstroke. Sorenson-Wagner was the lone entrant in the 200-yard backstroke, where she clocked-in a 2:22.34.
Audrey Tschida accumulated a score of 148.80 in the 3-meter dive, good enough for second place.
Nicole Phillips prevailed with a third-place time of 27.50 in the 50-yard freestyle.
