COLLEGEVILLE, MINN.—The Hamline University men's track & field team competed at the Saint John's Invite on Saturday.
Austin Schloeder claimed the men's pole vault title after clearing the bar at 4.70m. Isaiah Watson kept the titles rolling in the triple jump with a 13.76m, and notched a fourth-place mark of 6.61m in the long jump. Abdoul Gueye trailed Watson with a 13.42m in the triple jump, good enough for second place. Josiah Budiman took eighth place in the long jump with a 6.24m.
Jackson Lightner registered a second-place time of 8.54 in the 60 meter hurdles, followed by Morris Suah's second-place mark of 8.65. Ricky Kwabena Yawson kept the second-place trend alive with a 6.95 in the 60 meter hurdles.
The Pipers will compete at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic on Friday, February 21.
