MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University swim & dive teams achieved 25 season bests through the first two days of the 2025 MIAC Championship at the Jane Freeman Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Of those 25 marks, 21 were lifetime bests. The men sit in sixth place with 95 points, while the women's 84 points puts them in seventh place.

On the men's side, Kevin Bossou registered a fourth-place mark of 400.65 in the 1 meter dive on Wednesday night. Dylan Purrington's 2:02.33 in the 200 yard IM prelims secured him 15th place and a spot in the finals. He improved upon that time with a 2:02.13 in the finals, good enough for 15th place.

Sila Yurttas paced the women with a 2:12.56 in the 200 yard IM prelims, which put her in seventh place and spot in finals. She carried that momentum into finals, where she nearly shaved a second off with a sixth-place time of 2:11.69. That mark ranks third in program history.

The Pipers will compete in day three of the MIAC championships tomorrow, Friday, February 21 at 10:30 a.m. / 6:30 p.m.
