DAY THREE PRELIMS
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—A multitude of school records, season bests, as well as a MIAC All-Conference finish occurred for the Hamline Pipers on day three of the MIAC Swim & Dive Championship at the University of Minnesota Jane Freeman Aquatic Center on Friday.
The Pipers achieved 18 season bests on day three, which included 12 lifetime bests.Â
On the women's side, Sila Yurttas achieved a school-record time of 1:07.58 in the 100-yard breaststroke prelims en route to fourth place. She followed with a sixth-place time of 1:07.71 in the finals.Â
The school records continued to fall on the men's side courtesy of Dylan Purrington. He achieved ninth-place times of 59.27 in the 100-yard breaststroke prelims, and 58.80 in the finals.Â
Kevin Bossou earned MIAC All-Conference distinction in the 3-meter dive, where he notched third place with a 418.85.Â
The Pipers will compete on day four of the MIAC Championship tomorrow, Saturday, February 22 at 10:30 a.m. / 6:30 p.m.
