COLLEGEVILLE, MINN.—The Hamline University men's track & field team embarked on day two of the 2025 MIAC Indoor Championship in Collegeville, Minnesota on Friday. The men sit in eighth place out of 11 teams with 23 points. Bethel is leading the men's field with 102 points through two days.
The Pipers accumulated nine career-best times on day two.
For the fifth and sixth times this season, first-year Ricky Kwabena Yawson broke the 60 meter dash school record. He prevailed with a third-place time of 6.88 in the prelims, and another third-place mark of 6.82 in the finals. Kwabena Yawson's performance ranks him 14th in NCAA Division III.Â
Jackson Lightner registered a fifth-place time of 8.42 in the 60 meter hurdles finals, while Morris Suah followed in sixth place with an 8.43. Suah and Lightner qualified for the finals after they clocked in fifth (8.51) and sixth place (8.52), respectively, in the prelims.Â
Lucas Liabraaten crossed the finish line at 4:26.65 in the 1 mile run, which put him in fifth place.Â
Isaiah Watson prevailed in the long jump, where he notched sixth place with a 6.71m.Â
