Weikel Wins Three Individual Titles Against Storm on Senior Day

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's gymnastics team hosted Simpson in their final home dual of the 2025 season at Walker Fieldhouse on Friday night. Brianna Weikel, Julia Cheely, Elena Bailey, Lily Ramsdell, Mia Schafer, and Meighan White were honored for senior night.

Fifth-year Brianna Weikel carried the Pipers on her shoulders in her final collegiate home meet with three individual titles in the uneven bars (9.450), balance beam (9.625), and floor exercise (9.725). Weikel's scores in the floor exercise and uneven bars were season bests. 

Maura Erickson registered a team-leading 9.375 in the vault, good enough for fourth place. Katie Chai-Mulkerin kept the fourth-place trend alive with a 9.050 in the uneven bars. Zoey Danzinger claimed bronze in the floor exercise with a 9.525. Fifth place was the case for Sydney Stoenner with a season-best 9.425 in the floor exercise, as well as Cailey Price in the balance beam with a 9.150.

The Pipers finished the meet with six individual season-best scores.

Hamline will compete at the 2025 WIAC Championship/NCGA West Regional in La Crosse, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 8 at 12:30 p.m.
