COLLEGEVILLE, MINN.—The Hamline University women's track & field team embarked on day two of the MIAC Indoor Championship in Collegeville on Friday. The Pipers sit in ninth place out of 11 teams with 16 points. Bethel will enter day three with a first-place score of 88 points.
Hamline collected three career best marks through day two.
Lexi Brainer claimed the MIAC weight throw title with a 17.11m, which ranks 21st in NCAA Division III. She is the first Piper to win the MIAC Women's Indoor Weight Throw Title since 2022, when Jenneel Rodney registered a 17.49m. Brooke Tracy was the next Piper finisher in the weight throw, where she took seventh place with a 14.37m.
Seventh-place career bests were the case for Addyson Barrett (5.13m) in the long jump, and Anabel Bradley (2:20.75) in the 800 meter run.Â
Day three of the MIAC Indoor Championship will occur tomorrow, Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m.
