Stephanie Kaup wasn't perfect for Hamline's volleyball team in last Saturday's 3-0 win at St. Olaf.

But she came close.

The senior has 10 kills and just one error in 13 attempts for a .692 Hitting Percentage. That's the fourth best single game effort in school history. Kaup has been of four attackers who has 70 or more kills and is one of the reasons why the Pipers are off to a 10-3 overall start. They stand 2-1 in MIAC play entering a Hutton Arena match Friday night against Gustavus Adolphus. 

Kaup has been a mainstay here. Her 266 Kills last year were second on the team to Sam Greeney-Hamlin. Same with her 219 the year before. This year, with a more balanced attack up front, the ball has been rotating more. Kaup has been steady and varied. In MIAC action, she is second in the league in Solo Blocks and Hitting Percentage.
