Shawny did more than unload the winning effort in the Weight Throw at last weekend's Meet Of the Hearts in Northfield. She threw 57-8 1/2 feet, by far the best mark in the MIAC this year and the third best recorded throw this year in Division III. The sophomore won the competition by a remarkable seven feet.
