Maya Dempsey's three-point game highlighted the Pipers' 2-0 shutout victory over Northwestern (Minn.) on October 3. She tallied her third goal of the season in the 66th minute, when she got past the Eagles' back line all alone and let a shot go 20 yards in front of the net to widen the score to 2-0. Dempsey also contributed three shots in a 3-1 loss to St. Scholastica on October 8. She finished the two-game stretch with seven shots.
