Elizabeth Lopata came through with seven kills in the opening set of Hamline's 3-1 (22-25, 25-12, 25-14, 25-20) loss to No. 16 Gustavus Adolphus on October 7. This included four kills in the Pipers' 7-1 run at the tail end of the 25-22 set-one victory over the nationally-ranked Gusties. Lopata finished the match with a team-leading 12 kills. The Germantown, Wisconsin native chipped in seven kills, six digs, and two blocks in a 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 26-24) loss to Bethel on October 6.
