Hamline placed eight individuals and two teams among the top three finishers en route to a third place finish at the Macalester Pre-MIAC meet February 26. The Pipers totaled 105 points, trailing only Gustavus Adolphus (119) and Bethel (128.5). 

Carolyn Saulsberry prepped for this weekend's MIAC Conference meet by winning the 60 Meter Hurdles in 9.04 seconds. Gabrielle Brown continued her outstanding freshman season with a third place finish in the same race (9.21 seconds).

Marissa Fiecke won the 400 meter race in 1:00.92.  The quartet of Fiecke, Abby Cyr, Kristy Dellwo and Brianna Baker conquered the field in the 4 x 400 Relay (4:09.15). HU got second place finishes from Izzy Shafer (200 meters, 27:07), Saulsberry (Long Jump. 5.19 m) and the 4 x 200 Relay team of Brown, Shafer, Fiecke and Marissa Hensch. 

In addition to Brown, the Pipers got third place efforts from Dellwo (600 meters, 1:41.91), Holly Hankins (1000 Meters, 3:07.66), Jordan Walls (Pole Vault, 3.13 m) and Allyson Opps (Long Jump,  13.93 m).
