Claire Siems (Rochester, Minn.) have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees, the organization announced June 23.
Senior
Brooke Baumann led the cross country team in both the 5K and 6K, setting personal bests of 19:14.3 at the Dragon Twilight Invitational and 23:43.1 at the MIAC Championships (40th overall), while adding a 76th-place finish at the NCAA DIII North Region Championships. On the track, she excelled as a premier multi-event athlete, placing 9th in the indoor pentathlon (PR: 2,808 points) and 18th in the outdoor heptathlon (PR: 3,264 points) at the MIAC Championships, while also helping the 4x400m relay secure 7th. Her well-rounded season was highlighted by a 6th-place finish in the 400m hurdles (1:06.86) alongside personal records in the 800m (2:24.54), 200m (27.23), 100m hurdles, shot put, and javelin.
Senior
Aliyah Robran excelled across hurdles, sprints, and relays, scoring at both MIAC Championships. Indoors, she placed fifth in the 4x200m and seventh in the 4x400m while setting a lifetime PR in the 55m hurdles (9.07). Outdoors, she helped the 4x400m relay secure sixth place (4:04.27) and clocked individual PRs in the 100m hurdles (15.93) and 400m hurdles (1:08.26). Her standout season also included fourth in the 60m hurdles (PR: 9.54), a 200m PR (27.37), and event victories with the 4x200m relay at the Gustie Twilight and the 4x400m relay at the Meet of the Unsaintly.
Senior
Josiah Budiman scored at both conference meets, placing fourth (6.77m) at the MIAC Indoor Championships and fifth (6.79m) at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. His campaign was highlighted by a lifetime long jump PR of 6.81m to take second at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic—where he also clocked a 60m PR of 7.22 seconds—alongside individual event titles at the Carleton Meet of Hearts and Gustie Twilight. He capped off his senior year with a 100m PR of 11.76 seconds at the Meet of the Unsaintly.
Senior
Doug Gill competed in throws throughout both the indoor and outdoor seasons for Hamline, he capped off his year with a career-best mark of 45.56m (149' 6") in the hammer throw at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. His outdoor campaign also featured a strong 42.38m performance in the hammer at the Gustie Twilight. During the indoor season, he established top marks of 12.54m (41' 1.75") in the weight throw at the CSB/SJU vs. St. Olaf Dual and 9.57m (31' 4.75") in the shot put at the CSB/SJU Invitational.
Junior
Anabel Bradley served as a frontrunner for cross country and a middle-distance runner for track. In cross country, she ranked second on the team in the 5K (PR: 19:59.4) and third in the 6K (24:50.6), competing at both the MIAC and NCAA DIII North Region Championships. On the track, she scored in the 4x400m (6th) and 4x800m (8th) relays at the MIAC Outdoor Championships and placed 10th in the indoor 600m. Her impressive season was highlighted by lifetime indoor PRs in the 600m (1:38.28) and 800m (2:16.32), a third-place 1000m finish (3:05.65), and an outdoor 1500m PR of 4:51.61.
Sophomore
Claire Siems delivered a standout sprint campaign, capturing All-Conference Indoor honors and scoring in three outdoor events. At the MIAC Indoor Championships, she placed seventh in the 55m dash (PR: 7.39) after winning the 60m dash title (PR: 7.95) at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic. Outdoors, she scored at the MIAC Championships by taking seventh in the 200m dash—clocking a PR of 25.49 in the prelims—while helping the 4x100m relay place fifth and the 4x400m relay place sixth. Her season also featured a wind-legal 100m PR of 12.46 at the Hamline Invitational, a 10th-place finish in the MIAC 100m prelims, and three relay victories.
