Multiple Women's Track & Field Athletes Earn 2026 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Conference Honors

SAINT PAUL, Minn. --- Hamline University women's track and field first year jumper Mabel Badejo (Minneapolis, Minn.), sophomore thrower Magenta Owens (Maple Grove, Minn.), the 4x100-meter relay team of Grace Hoffmann (Cambridge, Minn.), Jazmin Turnabugh (Brooklyn Park, Minn.), Alexi Schneider (Marshall, Minn.), Claire Siems (Rochester, Minn.) and the 4x400-meter relay team of Anabel Bradley (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), Aliyah Robran (Greenfield, Minn.), Alicia Maddux (Moorhead, Minn.) and Siems earned 2026 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Honorable Mention honors this season, announced Thursday, May 14.

Badejo earned MIAC honorable mention honors by placing sixth in the long jump, hitting a best jump of 5.47m on the day. Her best jump of the season came at the Gustie Twilight, where she leaped 5.56m to win the long jump event. 

Owens took fifth in the discus with a personal-best toss of 41.46 meters, a mark that moved her to No. 74 in the national rankings to earn MIAC honorable mention honors. She followed that up that performance with an eighth-place finish in the hammer throw, posting another career best of 46.58 meters. 

The the women's 4x100-meter relay team of Hoffmann, Turnabugh, Schneider, and Siems placed fifth in their race with a season-best time of 48.61 seconds, which ranks No. 85 in Division III, to earn MIAC honorable mention honors. 

The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Bradley, Robran, Maddux, and Siems earned sixth place with a season-best 4:04.27 for MIAC honorable mention honors.
