Jake Trondson and
Elias Ramirez showed they can play just as well outside as they do indoors. The pair packed a solid 1-2 punch for the Pipers, who went 2-3 on a trek to Orlando, Fla. this week. Hamline opened the swing with an 8-1 loss to Stevens Institute of Technology. Colorado College doubled the Pipers up, 6-3, the next day. Trondson is 9-2 this year at No. 1 singles and has won his last four matches in a row. Ramirez is 10-2 with all but one match at No. 2 singles. In doubles, Trondson and
Tou Ger Xiong are hitting it off well with a four game winning streak and a 5-1 overall mark. Ramirez paired up with
Gabriel Lopez in Florida at No. 3 doubles and won all three times they played.
