Despite having their seasons cut short, the Hamline athletic department would like to recognize and honor the 2020 senior spring class of student-athletes. These 37 individuals have made a lasting impact on their program and the Hamline campus as a whole. Every day for the next few weeks, please check back to this page as a new senior will be added each day.

Jessie Juenemann  |  Track and Field  |  Exercise Science Major
In the past four years
Jessie Juenemann has made significant contributions to the Hamline track and field program, earning back-to-back All-American honors in the discus while also being a three-time MIAC Champion. In the shot put, Juenemann scored six times in her career at the MIAC Championship meets between the indoor and outdoor seasons. As a sophomore she won the indoor shot put title with a distance of 12.89 meters and then went on to win the discus title as well as placing third in shot put at the outdoor championships. At the national meet, she placed eighth in the discus to earn her first All-American honor. The following season, Juenemann earned two All-Conference Honorable Mention awards in the shot put while defending her discus title. She would continue onto the national meet where she once again placed eighth to be named an All-American. Juenemann will graduate with the second-farthest discus throw in school history at 46.48 meters. She was named to the MIAC All-Academic team more than once and on campus, she is involved with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
