SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Select members of the Hamline University track & field teams embarked on the Macalester Rider-Bolstorff Invitational on Thursday (5K) and Saturday. The women took 13th place out of 19 schools with 12.50 points while the men recorded no points. Bethel claimed the women's (121 points) and men's (128 points) titles.

Madison Reed carried the women on her shoulders with a second-place mark of 39.77m in the discus. The shot put was all Ellie Biggins, who notched a toss of 11.48m to secure ninth place. Lizzie Green put herself in a tie for eighth place in the pole vault as she cleared the bar at 2.70m.

Aric Brodie carried the men on his shoulder with a 12th-place time of 15:44.97 in the 5000 meter run.

The Pipers will return to action at the St. Thomas Tommie Twilight on Wednesday, May 3.
