SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Concordia St. Paul Holst Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

MEN
Michael Braun led the way with a second-place leap of 13.15m, achieved on his second attempt. He continued his stellar day in the high jump, where he topped out at 1.85m on his try at that height to secure third place.

Third place was also in the cards for freshman phenom Jackson Lightner, who crossed the finish line at 15.86 in the 110 meter hurdle preliminaries, before he improved upon that time with a 15.79 in the finals en route to third place.

Austin Schloeder managed to clear the bar at 4.00 on just one attempt, which put him in fifth place.

WOMEN
Terra McMahon won the long jump title with a leap of 5.16m.

The Pipers were well represented in the discus, led by Jade Hunt's toss of 44.20m that secured her second place. Madison Reed followed that with a 39.39m, good enough for fifth place. Desirae Dates took eighth in the discus with a 37.80m.

It was Reed's turn lead the Pipers, and she did that with a second-place toss of 49.57m in the hammer. Lexi Brainer was next in sixth place with a 45.42m.
