SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Hamline University junior shortstop Jenna Rubbelke was named to the 2024 MIAC Softball All-Conference Team. Rubbelke is now a three-time MIAC Softball All-Conference selection, the first Piper to accomplish that feat since Megan Rubbelke (2019, 2021, 2022).

2024 MIAC Softball Season Awards
Player of the Year: Olivia Tautges (Saint Benedict)
Pitcher of the Year: Ellie Peterson (Saint Benedict)
Rookie of the Year: Makayla Steffes (Saint Mary's)
Coach of the Year: John Tschida (Saint Mary's)

Rubbelke finished the season with a team-leading .412 (49-of-119) batting average, 29 runs scored, a .450 on-base percentage, 15 stolen bases, and 52 total bases over 36 games in 2024. She averaged just one strikeout out of every 39 at-bats, which led the MIAC as "toughest to strikeout."  The North St. Paul native, who came up hit-less in just two games, concluded the 2024 season with a 26-game hit streak.

She also had a .887 OPS, seven RBI, and eight walks as the Pipers' leadoff hitter in 2024. Defensively, Rubbelke came through with a team-leading 97 assists from shortstop, where she finished with 171 chances, 66 putouts, and a .953 fielding percentage.

Over 105 career games played, Rubbelke has accumulated a .398 (139-of-349) batting average, 93 runs scored, and a .454 on-base percentage. Her 139 career hits ranks 12th in program history.

In addition, junior first base Gabby Tuhy, and sophomore second base Josephine Cariveau were each named 2024 MIAC Softball Honorable Mention. This is Carvieau's second-straight honorable mention nod.
