DAY ONE RECAP
RESULTS

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University men's track & field team embarked on day two of the 2025 MIAC Outdoor Championship, hosted by Macalester College, on Saturday. The Pipers finished the meet with an eighth-place score of 40 points. Bethel won the 2025 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Title with 207 points.

First-year Isaiah Watson won the triple jump title with a meet-record leap of 14.81m, which currently ranks eighth in NCAA Division III. Watson became the fifth MIAC Outdoor Triple Jump champion in school history, and the first since Bakari Jackson in 2016.

Second place was the case for Austin Schloeder in the pole vault with a 4.57m, which gave the Pipers eight team points.

Ricky Kwabena Yawson registered a pair of fourth-place times of 10.51 in the 100 meter dash finals, and 21.65 in the 200 meter dash finals. Both of Kwabena Yawson's times accumulated to 10 team points. The fourth place trend continued for Yawson in the 4x100 meter relay (42.62) along with teammates Reece Thomas, Dawson Schaffer, and Mickey Otis.

The 400 meter hurdles resulted in a career-best 55.20 for Morris Suah, which put him in sixth place and gave Hamline three points.

The Pipers will compete in last chance meets over the coming week with hopes of qualifying for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Geneva, Ohio on May 22-24.
