Dylan Sperry and Derek Lutz each won a singles and a doubles match as Hamline doubled up Concordia, 6-3, Saturday night in Fargo in the MIAC opener for both teams.Â
Sperry took his No. 1 singles match with a 6-0, 6-3 decision. Lutz also won decisively at no. 2 singles by 6-1, 6-2 counts. Brandon Keuther (No. 5 singles) and Kam Manthe (No. 6 singles) also claimed victory.Â
Sperry teamed up with Sam Peterson for an 8-2 doubles win while Lutz and Tyler Antil took a hard-fought 8-6 set.Â
Hamline is now 1-1 overall. They will face UW-Eau Claire and Gustavus Adolphus on February 15 in St. Peter.Â
