It may have been a chilly day outside but the Hamline men's tennis team warmed to the occasion in a hurry.
HU overran Martin Luther, 9-0, in their first match of the season on Holt Courts.
Dylan Sperry, Derek Lutz, Tyler Antil, Cody Jahrig, Brandon Kuether and
Kam Manthe all posted solid straight set singles wins. Antil and Kuether won their matches by 6-0, 6-0.
On the doubles side, Lutz and
Sam Peterson rolled to a 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles. Lutz and Jahrig, playing at No. 2 and Antil and Kuether (at No. 3) won their sets by 8-5 scores.
Hamline is now 4-9 overall. They return to conference action April 5 at St. Thomas.
